Three people were wounded when a bomb blast hit an area in northern Baghdad, an Iraqi police source said on Saturday.
The explosive device was placed on the side of a road near a popular market in Taji district, northern Baghdad when it went off, leaving three injuries, Alsumaria news channel reported, quoting a source as saying.
Security forces moved to the scene and the injured were carried to a hospital to receive medial assistance, the source added.
Meanwhile, an Iraqi security source said that a suicide bomber blew himself up at a school in southeastern Tikrit city but no injuries have been reported.
