At least 14 people were killed and 43 others injured as a wave of bombing attacks rattled the Iraqi capital city of Baghdad on Wednesday. A source at the Interior Ministry's Baghdad Operations Command told KUNA that seven Iraqis were killed and 23 others wounded when a car bombing attack took place at the southeastern New Baghdad neighborhood. A second blast hit Aljaza'er Street in Baghdad killing two people and injuring four others and third and coincided explosion targeted a police convoy in the same street and wounded three policemen. A fourth bombing attack targeted a civilian gathering in Al-Talbia neighborhood, northeast of Baghdad, leaving six causalities including one fatality. A fifth powerful explosion targeted a police convoy in Tikrit, northern Baghdad, killing four policemen and injuring five others. In Camp Sarah neighborhood, east of Baghdad, unknown gunmen attacked a number of civilians and wounded three of them.
