A mufti of Daesh terrorist group was killed along with his four companions in the district of Ba'aj in the west of Iraq's Nineveh province on Saturday, Al Arabiya News Channel quoted a security source as saying. 

The five were killed in an airstrike which targeted their vehicle, added the source. 

The army and air force play a crucial role in targeting prominent leaders of Daesh terrorist group, said the source.
