Eight elements affiliated to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) were killed in an attack launched by Daesh terrorist group on the SDF outposts in the outskirts of Deir Ezzor, the London-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Saturday.
Daesh carried out an attack on the SDF outposts near Jafra oil field in the eastern outskirts of Deir Ezzor, killing eight members of the Syrian forces after clashing with them, SOHR was quoted by Al Hurra news channel as saying.
Earlier in the month, the SDF had recaptured Jafra oil fields, in the northeastern Deir Ezzor, from Daesh.
