At least six elements of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ten militants of Daesh terrorist group were killed in clashes in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzour, Al Hurra News Channel reported quoting the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Daesh militants detonated two booby-trapped cars which targeted SDF positions east of the Euphrates River.
Clashes were accompanied with intensive shelling by Daesh on Syrian troops positions.
Syrian local sources asserted that the Syrian army controlled various areas of Al Omal district in Deir Ezzour after Daesh militants retreated from their positions.
