At least 18 elements of ISIS group were killed in northern Syria in an operation carried out by Turkish military and the U.S.-led coalition, military sources told Anadolu Agency (AA) Thursday. 
The sources said artillery and airstrikes targeted their sites after the Turkish military detected signs of imminent attacks against Turkey. 
Several weapons, including howitzers and multiple-rocket launchers belonging to the group were also destroyed during the operation.
