About 25 members of the Syrian opposition were killed during an attack on a military base affiliated to the Syrian army in Aleppo, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Saturday.

Three of the killed are leaders of the armed groups, while nine of the Syrian army personnel were also killed in the clashes , said the SOHR's Director Rami Abdel Rahman.

The western territories of Aleppo witnessed fierce clashes on Saturday and an air raid on the area.
