The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that nine people were killed in a rocket shelling by regime forces on opposition sites in northeastern Damascus.

Also, 15 people were injured in the shelling, US-based channel Alhurra quoted the observatory as saying on Sunday.

Three people were killed in air raids in Homs city, the observatory said.
