At least 42 people were killed, including nine children and six women, in clashes between the Syrian opposition and regime forces in several areas in Syria over the past 24 hours, said the Local Coordination Committees of Syria.

Barada Valley area of rural Damascus were subjected to air raids amid the renewal of clashes between the warring parties, according to Al Hurra satellite TV channel.
