At least 79 people were killed Tuesday in the ongoing clashes between government and opposition forces in Syria, mostly in the northern Governorate of Aleppo.In a press statement, the Syrian Revolution General Commission (SRGC) reported that clashes between government forces and the opposition Free Syrian Army (FSA) in Aleppo has claimed the lives of 56 people including eight children and three women. At least 16 out of the 56 people were killed when aircraft released barrel bombs on several residential neighborhoods.In the Central Governorate of Homs, over 10 people were killed, six from the FSA and four from the regular army. In clashes in Damascus, Hama, Deraa, and Idlib governorates left four, four, three and two people dead respectively.
