Nine civilians were killed by barrel bombs dropped by regime warplanes on Maadi district in eastern Aleppo, Syrian sources said on Tuesday.

In statements to Sky News, the sources said a large number of people are still under the debris.

The shelling targeted small and mobile medical centers after all hospitals in eastern Aleppo were closed, the sources added.
