Violent clashes have been reported between the Syrian army and Daesh on the outskirts of Deir Ezzour city, Sky News reported quoting the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
SOHR said the Syrian army forces continued their attacks on al Hamidiyah district in Deir Ezzour and controlled most of its parts.
Earlier, the Syrian troops controlled al Irqi and al Omal districts in the city.
Clashes resulted in the killing of 73 elements from both sides over the past 24 hours.
