The death toll from a car bomb blast that rocked Aleppo's Azaz district in northwestern Syria hit 60, Syrian medical sources said.

Also, 50 persons were injured in the incident, medical sources added.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the blast hit near a local court house run by rebel groups. 

Activists have warned that the death toll is likely to rise.
