Syrian Civil Defence workers carry the body of a woman who was killed

The death toll from raids on Aleppo city rose to 40 civilians as well as dozens injured after Russian warplanes shelled a number of neighborhoods, Sky News Arabia quoted medical sources as saying on Sunday.

Fifteen people were killed and others were injured in a Russian raid that targeted a popular market in Urum al-Kubrah city while a child was killed and others were injured in another Russian raid that targeted Kabtan el-jabal city.

The warplanes also targeted a number of Aleppo neighborhoods in which a number of people were killed while three others were injured.

Meanwhile, Syrian regime warplanes shelled Ihras town controlled by Kurdish forces for the first time since the outbreak of the Syrian conflict.
