Scores of people died or suffered injuries in bomb blasts and violent action in in central and northern Syria over past hours. The official news agency, SANA, said a suicide bomber blew up explosives strapped to his body near offices of the public poultry institution in southern Hama, inflicting deaths and injuries. In northern Raqa, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statemnt two fighters from the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant set off exposives at a base manned by the Syrian regime forces. A number of troops were killed and wounded in the attack in the fiery explosion. Meanwhile, government forces engaged in clashes with Islamist gunmen on several axes. At least 15 government troops were killed or wounded in fierce fighting on Damascus' outskirts.
