The London-based Syrian Human Rights Observatory (SHRO) reported that circa 260 people were killed in Syria during the past twenty-four hours in various parts of Syria.The SHRO issued a statement today (Tuesday 5 March 2013) in which it revealed that 107 civilians were killed yesterday mostly in clashes with the Syrian regime forces in Damascus and its suburbs, Aleppo, Diraa, Homs, Edlib, Deir Al-Zour and Hama and that at least 57 Syrian regime forces were killed by an explosions or sniper fire in various Syrian provinces.The SHRO added that at least 29 unidentified fighters were killed in clashes, bombardment and blasts in Al-Riqqa, Aleppo, Edlib and Homs and that at least 48 Syrian regime soldiers were killed in an attack implemented by fighters believed to have come from Iraq on a convoy which conveyed them with Iraq army soldiers in Al-Anbar district and that at least 12 Baathist brigades elements and national defense forces loyal to the regime were also killed in Al-Riqqa, Alepp and Homs
