Syrian army fully controls Sheikh Meskin

The regime forces supported by Iranians officers and officers from the Lebanese Hezbollah as well as for gunmen loyal to them were managed to control the entire town of Sheikh Meskin in the northern countryside of Daraa, after an attack that started in late December 2015 on the town, according to a statement by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

The clashes are still taking place against the rebel and Islamic Factions supported by Jabhat Al-Nusra (al-Qaeda in Levant), accompanied by violent and intense shelling by the regime forces and bombing by Russian and Syrian warplanes and the helicopters of the regime targeting the clashing areas and other areas in the town. The clashes are currently concentrated in the vicinity of the town and its outskirts from the West side.

Clashes also took place between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the rebel and Islamic Factions in the vicinity of Kafr Nasej town in the northwestern countryside of Daraa, with no information yet about casualties.
