Syrian authorities seize weapons in As-Suwayda

The Syrian authorities, in cooperation with the popular defense groups in As-Suwayda province, seized on Thursday a number of missiles and weapons the militants tried to deliver to Badia East.

The Syrian News Agency quoted a local source as saying that the militants have fled, leaving behind, mortars, missiles, landmines, RPGs, machine guns and ammunition in addition to an Israeli M72 LAW anti-tank missiles.

The source added that a car carrying a lot of various missiles, mines and TNT was seized in the southern countryside of As-Suwayda while heading for Badia East.
