Syrian governmental forces have fired up to 20 ground-to-ground missiles (GGM) toward eastern Damascus and Ghouta, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) on Saturday.

The bombardment coincided with clashes with armed opposition, Alhurra channel quoted SOHR as saying.

Meanwhile, the Syrian forces pounded Homs countryside and attacked the opposition in Hama and Idlib.
