Syrian opposition controls 3 villages in Syria's Manbij

Syrian opposition militants took control of three villages in Manbij city in Aleppo after clashes with the Syrian Democratic Forces.

Alhurra TV channel quoted the Syrian opposition as saying on Thursday that the advancement comes as part of ongoing efforts to control al Arima village and establish a buffer zone between the village and other cities under the control of the Syria army.

This comes one day after a military spokesman announced that the Turkish army and other armed Syrian groups attacked several villages that fall under the control of US-backed factions near Manbij.
