London - MENA
Syrian regime warplanes conducted on Wednesday 160 airstrikes on Ghab plain in Hama governorate and areas close to Idlib countryside, said the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
The London-based observatory told Sky News channel on Thursday that regime forces seek to prevent opposition forces from controlling areas under the Syrian regime control.
Ghab raids come in retaliation to an attack by Syrian opposition forces on regime forces in Ghab plain and areas near Idlib countryside.
Opposition forces launched the attack in order to take over Idlib governorate and reach the administrative borders of Hama.
