Eighty-three people were killed by Syrian regime forces in various parts of Syria on Wednesday, the Syrian Network for Human Rights said. Aljazeera news channel said that clashes heated up between regime and rebel forces in Damascus and Rif Dimashq. Confrontations also continued in Allepo, Deir ez-Zor, Idlib, Deraa and al-Hasakah, the channel said. Meanwhile, Syrian activists said that a booby-trapped car went off in Abu-Romana district in Damascus on Wednesday targeting a security patrol. Several people were killed and injured in the blast.
