I’ve always been such a fan of Clarins, and even more so recently after the beautiful new Enchanted summer makeup collection. The makeup is based on India’s celebration of colour. Every year India celebrates the festival of colour with enchanting vibrant pigments used as symbols; red for joy and love, orange for optimism, green for harmony and blue for vitality. The collection includes: Bright shimmer crystal balms perfect for the summer makeup bag. Clarins Crystal Balm – 01 Crystal Pink The balm isn’t sticky which is what I love most about it; it nourishes the lips and glides on like a gloss. Something about the weight of the lipstick packaging and the cute pop of colour at the bottom makes it a pleasure to hold, and apply. I would recommend every lipstick lover to have one, it’s a juicy summer essential but I’d hurry as they’re limited edition. This beautifully designed Enchanted Colour Quartet & Liner Palette includes 4 colour eyeshadows; Champagne beige, bronze, gold and violet with a golden brown eyeliner. Clarins Enchanted Colour Quartet & Liner Palette The brushes are great as they come with three different tips for blending and defining. I must admit it was hard to get stuck into the shadows as the printed motifs are so pretty I didn’t want to spoil the design. This is a wonderful palette as it can be used for a subtle wash of colour over the eyes, or for major blending and a splash of colour. I do love a bronzer and this Mineral Powder bronzing duo compact is perfect for the summer as it includes 100% mineral suncreen protection against UV rays and pollution. Clarins Bronzing Duo: 03 Dark It’s high in pigment so great for creating a contoured cheek or adding a subtle tan anywhere on the body. The two shades blend together to complement and create a natural looking colour to your skin, and the smell of peaches will have you in the summer mood whatever the weather, Lush! I was really impressed with this Kohl Kajal eyeliner. The design allows you to draw a nice neat line across the upper lash, creating a flick and can also be used as a normal eyeliner colouring the inner eye. Clarins Khol Kajal – Black The texture is lovely and is suitable for sensitive eyes, its creamy and feels soft when applied, perfect for day and night wear. It is available in black and violet.
