The conference of "TEDx Minawi Pasha",has been launched, in Basra, southern Iraq, in the presence of many young people and a wide participation of a group of distinguished speakers from successful entrepreneurs and creative minds.
The secretary-general of the Iraqi National Congress, Aras Habib Karim, reviewed, in his speech during the launch of the conference, the strategic role of the city of Basra in the Iraqi national reality economically, socially and politically, and the leading role of its public figures in Iraq's history.
"Basra represents an ideal environment for investment, wherein oil and water, and innovators and promising generation of young people, pointed out that after the integrating of its human resources with the natural resources, it is possible that the major economic miracle will take place in Iraq, Karim said.
"We today look forward to the experiences, may seem ideal at work, of Dubai, Malaysia, Singapore and other experiences, but I tell you it is the reality that Basra has more than those experiences, and all we need is the beginning, and you are this beginning," Karim stated.
"TEDx Minawi Pasha" is a local event, and a platform to gather the entrepreneurs to share their ideas.
