In light of the difficult economic conditions in Egypt, and the continuous wave of high prices that left the citizen in a conflict that takes him from crisis to depression, and burdens him with innumerable fears of high prices, the majority of the Egyptian people can not afford it, especially in light of the lack of salary increases to the extent appropriate for high prices.
Mrs. Iman Boutros, a housewife who lives in Heliopolis, spoke in great anger, saying "We must differentiate between my objections to the recent decisions and my opposition to the authority, I am not against the stability of the state or against its regime, but against anything that harms the citizen." "I am a resident of the new Heliopolis neighborhood, but I suffer from the increasing prices that are exhausting all of us," she added.
Iman stressed that no compensation for high prices or raise subsidies only by providing social justice at the level of average of one's income in order to be able to parallel the rise in prices, and I do believe that the poor citizen is not affected by the increase of 95 gasoline, and tariff on luxury cars that filled the streets, the increase of building materials and actors fees of millions, but all will be affected by the rise of 80 gasoline at a high rate of 55%, because it used in all modes of transport.
Hany Kamel, a clothing dealer, stressed that high prices controled everything but after increasing the diesel and ordinary gasoline, it affected the sales and purchase movement. He expressed his anger over increasing prices of 350 kinds of medicine.
On the other hand, Abdul Moneim Mohammed, a government employee, indicated the psychological state experienced by the Egyptian labor and the children as well, and that physical pressure affects the children because he can not meet their needs in their basics, as well as he does not know what to do.
The teacher Nadia Mahmoud sent a message to the President that the poor citizen does not care about the two islands or about Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, the poor citizen cares about how to feed his family.
