Saudi Arabia has today lifted the temporary ban on imports of beef, sheep, goats, poultry, table eggs, products and equipment from Russia.
The Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) announced the measure in a statement posted on its portal www.sfda.gov.sa.
The decision was based on the recommendation of the SFDA technical team, which was reassured on the actions taken by the competent Russian authorities to control foot-and-mouth disease, disease and bird flu, and procedures for the registration and control of the products of the processing of beef, cattle, sheep, goats and poultry.
