Carrier, a world leader in high-technology heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) solutions, introduced its latest innovations for Saudi Arabia at the HVACR Expo Saudi 2017. Carrier, which operates in Saudi Arabia through Arabian Air Conditioning Co. and Carrier Saudi Service Co., its joint venture companies with E.A. Juffali & Brothers, is part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX).
The exhibition and conference is the largest of its kind in Saudi Arabia, attracting thousands of visitors between Jan. 15-17. This year, HVACR Expo Saudi 2017 focused on residential and industrial air conditioning innovations, including Carrier’s new variable refrigerant flow (VRF) system and high-efficiency hi-wall unit.
“We are proud to serve as platinum sponsors of this event dedicated to the experts of the HVACR industry in Saudi Arabia and to introduce the latest, updated technology into Saudi Arabia,” says Giorgio Elia, vice president, UTC Climate, Controls & Security, Middle East. “Our portfolio of products showcased at the event demonstrates our commitment to sustainability and to continuously improving energy efficiency.”
Carrier’s latest innovations exhibited at the event included the new VRF system and the new high-efficiency hi-wall unit, which uses inverter technology and offers excellent energy efficiency ratings with greatly reduced energy consumption and improved performance in new elegant design options. The new systems use the environmentally-balanced refrigerant, Puron, which does not emit any ozone-depleting chemicals and is non-flammable and non-corrosive.
