Nahdi Medical Co., the largest retail pharmacy chain in the Middle East and North Africa, won the International Safety Award from the highest council of safety in the world — the British Council — that includes over 600 regional and international companies around the world.
The event coincided with the 60th anniversary of the British Safety Council, which was established in London in 1950 and has ever since effectively contributed toward global safety, transforming initiatives into health and safety policy and law worldwide.
The prestigious award was received on behalf of Nahdi by Raed Jamil Munkal, executive vice president of operations and supply chains in the Kingdom.
Yasser Joharji, CEO of Nahdi Medical Co., said: “We are delighted to receive the International Safety Award from the British Council. This confirms our commitment in applying best practices in health and occupational safety.
Nahdi pays great attention in implementing the best international systems practice that helps maintain highest health and safety standards.
“As part of our humble contribution toward the Saudi Vision 2030, we have extended our services in more than 127 cities, while ensuring uncompromising quality and safety standards.
