Chairman of Libya’s High Council of State Abdurrahman Asweahly said "the end of the crisis in Libya is imminent, the signs of which are emerging from the Tunisian initiative," noting that all Libyan and international stakeholders interested in the Libyan issue are willing to do their best to find a solution to this crisis. "

Inter-Libyan dialogue continues in Libya and abroad under international and regional supervision, it has not been interrupted for a single day but must lead us to get out of the current situation," Asweahly told reporters, Thursday, after a meeting with Speaker of the House of People’s Representatives (HPR) Mohamed Ennaceur.

The Libyan leader reiterated his appeal to the various protagonists of the Libyan crisis "to commit to this course and to accept the Tunisian initiative", affirming that "Libya has no choice but that of the peace based on dialogue and national reconciliation and acceptance of different opinions without the exclusion or marginalization of any political party ".

Asweahly also called on "different regional and international structures to support the Tunisian initiative and to play a positive role in urging all Libyan protagonists to make concessions and support the national dialogue to reach a rapid agreement to find a solution to the Libyan crisis and lead to the formation of a national unity government bringing together all parties.”

"We are very pleased with the Tunisian initiative to resolve the Libyan crisis which we share the broad lines, including the call to all Libyans for national accord and the exercise by all of political action to build the new state, "he added.

Abdurrahman Asweahly arrived Thursday in Tunis heading a Libyan delegation for a working visit at the invitation of HPR Speaker Mohamed Ennaceur.

He also had a meeting with President Beji Caid Essebsi.
