Iraqi police kills 2 Daesh suicide bombers south of Mosul

A police officer in Nineveh Police Command declared on Monday, that Iraqi security forces killed two suicide bombers belonging to the Islamic State group, near al-Salam Hospital, south of Mosul.
Captain Amir Wathiq said in a press statement, “Police forces, stationed at al-Salam General Hospital, killed two suicide bombers belonging to the Islamic State, before sneaking into the hospital.”
“Mosul residents informed the police forces with the suicide bombers’ movements,” Wathiq explained.
“Security forces also carried out search and arrest operations in the liberated areas, and managed to arrest 24 members of the Islamic State,” Wathiq further added.
