Seven hundred and sixty four people visited Wadi Bani Khalid on Saturday.
The Ministry of Tourism has announced that 16,800 civilians visited the region of Wadi Bani Khalid during the Eid holiday.
Wadi Bani Khalid is 203 kilometres from Muscat and is known to be one of the best Wadi in the Sharqiyah region, as its stream contains a steady flow of water throughout the year.
Dhofar is another location that saw a high number of visitors during the holiday, with 27,654 tourists who went to enjoy the khareef season. Jabal Akhdar also a higher number of visitors with numbers reaching 5,470.
Public transportation company Mwasalat had announced that it transported over 24,000 passengers in the internal lines through Muscat on the first day of Eid al-Fitr.
