Under the patronage of the French Embassy in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministries of Culture and Tourism, and BLOM Bank, held a press conference on Thursday at the Zaituna Bay Yacht Club to launch the 17th edition of the "Fête de la Musique" (Music Festival), an unmissable event on the cultural calendar.
The launching was attended by French Chargé d'Affaires Arnault Bicho, the Lebanese Minister of Tourism, Avedis Guidanian, the representative of the Lebanese Minister of Culture, ambassadors, diplomats, as well as representatives of the partner, Blom Bank, and other senior figures.
In Lebanon, around a hundred Lebanese and international artists will invest nearly twenty emblematic places in the capital, but also the regional offices of the French Institute and several other scenes across the country.
In their speeches, the participants in the ceremony highlighted the importance of this celebration, which bears the symbol of freedom and freedom of expression in a country that carries a message of peace and fight against terrorism
