Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi chaired a meeting comprising ministry officials and principals of schools.
The minister stressed the importance of the partnership between the directorates and schools in upgrading the educational process. Dr. Al Nuaimi cited the significance of activation of the automated quality monitoring card in the schools. He pointed out that the ministry provides all the necessary support to improve schools performance and to take all the requirement measures to achieve the best results in the public and private schools as well.
The electronic system aims to monitor and track everyday performance in the schools by means of charts that indicate teachers’ and students’ attendance and absence. It also indicates the classroom visits by school directors as well as inspection visits by the headmasters aimed to boost the performance in all educational fields.
The ministry’s Assistant Undersecretary for General and Technical Education, Lateefa Al Bunooza, gave a presentation highlighting the automated quality system in the schools and the services it renders as well as the data feeding mechanism. The meeting included a (Q and A) part including remarks by the attendees about educational affairs.
