An Abu Dhabi Education Council delegation, ADEC, headed by Dr. Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Director-General of ADEC, has participated in the 2017 Moscow Global Forum, under the theme 'City for Education'.
The forum will cover the latest developments and strategies in the field of education management and innovation in the world with the participation of 150 speakers in the presence of 30 thousand participants from all over the world.
In his paper entitled "School Education as a Tool for the Consolidation of Urban Society," Dr. Ali Al Nuaimi discussed the great interest the UAE Government attaches to the education sector through the use of distinguished competencies in this field.
He stressed the importance of exploiting the challenges facing the education sector by transforming them into opportunities through which the educational process will be developed, specifically those related to technology and innovation as it represents the future framework of education in the world.
Dr. Al Nuaimi said that the most significant challenge for global education experts is that the student receives a tremendous amount of information and knowledge on innovative technologies from the external environment, more than what is obtained via the school environment, and therefore experts in the field are required to keep up with these rapid developments.
The Moscow Global Forum is an international platform for the exchange of experience in the development of primary, additional, vocational and pre-vocational education, as well as the demonstration of modern educational technologies, electronic resources, software solutions, computer equipment and educational equipment.
ADEC's participation in the forum is an excellent opportunity to review the strategy and objectives of the council and the exchange of educational and academic experiences with education experts in Russia and other countries participating in the forum.
