Two movie theatres at the City Centre and Seef Mall have been allocated for the fans of the national football team to watch the match which will oppose Bahrain and Oman on Tuesday in the semi-final of the 23rd Gulf Cup of Nations "Khaleeji 23".
The gesture followed directives from His Majesty the King’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) announced the decision in cooperation with the Bahrain Cinema Company – in support of the national football team.
SCYS Assistant Secretary-General, BOC Secretary-General Abdulrahman Sadok Askar paid tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa for his directives, hailing his dedicated efforts to support the national team in Khaleeji 23 and allow football fans to watch the semifinal match.
He stressed the BOC keenness providing all that motivates national team players to stage an outstanding performance which honours Bahrain’s football and achieve the long-awaited title.
