The Emirates Environmental Group, EEG, recently organised its annual "For Our Emirates We Plant" campaign in the emirate of Umm al-Qaiwain.
During the event, eco-friendly residents from all sectors of the society; public and private institutions, academic institutions and families, came together and planted over 230 indigenous trees of Ghaf, Sidra, Samar and Neem variety across two locations. These trees on maturity will help mitigate 1.36 metric tonnes of CO2 emissions.
