Arab Coalition’s fighter jets launched an attack against Houthi strongholds in both Medi and Herd fronts, as the leader of Nasr Battalion, loyal to the Yemeni government, Colonel Hassan Ali Al Mazabi has been killed during the battle.

Days ago, leaders of the Houthis have been killed in the fronts of Medi and Herd. According to military sources, Houthi military leader Hussein Al Hejiry was killed during artillery shelling targeting Al Makhazen area.

The Yemeni forces received military support from the Arab Coalition to achieve advance in the mentioned fronts, as the coalition’s fighter jets launched increasing attacks against the sites of Houthis and other forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

On the other hand, Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Transportation Nasser Sherif revealed the security plan to activate Mokha Port and other ports controlled by the government. He expected that the port will be operated during the coming days.

On the military side, Yemen’s leader Omar Gohar revealed that the Yemeni army prepares currently to advance to Khaled Bin Al Waleed Camp and Hadida port in cooperation with the Arab Coalition’s air forces, stressing that the army adopts clear strategy to liberate the Yemeni cities.

He stressed the readiness of his forces to achieve advance in the areas controlled by the Houthi militias during the coming period, saying that they give priority to controlling the coast used by the militias to receive the military support provided to them from Iran.
