Electoral campaigns of candidates who will run for the coming parliamentary elections are scheduled to be launched on April 9 and will continue until April 30. The Algerian elections, due to be held on May 4, will witness the participation of 797 partisan lists, 164 individual lists and 128 lists of electoral coalitions.
Algerian Speaker of Parliament Abdel Qader Bin Saleh called for doubling the efforts aiming to support the citizens for participating in the coming elections. He added that the high turnout in the coming elections will pave the way for establishing institutions representing the people to meet their aspirations.
On his hand, Algerian Interior Minister Nour Al Din Badawy said that the parliamentary elections will provide a suitable opportunity to respond to those people who raise skepticism over Algerian security and stability and its ability to build a democratic and strong state
