Two young men died in a landmine explosion near Abu Khashab town, northwest of Deir Ezzor, while attempting to flee ISIS-controlled areas. Meanwhile, warplanes carried out several raids last night on areas in the neighborhoods of Al-Hamidiyah, Al-Rashdiyah and the old Airport area in Deir Ezzor city, causing several injuries.
In addition, clashes broke out after midnight between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and ISIS on the other in Talt ‘Aloush at the outskirts of Deir Ezzor city. Clashes were accompanied by shelling by the regime forces on areas of clashes.
The regime forces targeted areas in Bayt Jen Farm in the southwestern part of Rif Dimashq with mortar shells. Simultaneously, the regime forces opened fire using their heavy machine guns on areas in the farm. No casualties were reported.
Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: clashes broke out after midnight between the regime forces and their allied militiamen on one hand and the rebel and Islamic factions on the other in Al-Malah area, north of Aleppo. Casualties were reported at both sides. Meanwhile, several shells were fired after midnight on a regime-controlled area located between Al-Neil and Al-Khalidiyah streets in Aleppo city, causing material damages.
Warplanes renewed their intensive shelling on areas in the eastern countryside of Hama. The SOHR learned that airstrikes hit the villages of Hamada Omar, Soha, Abu Hobaylat, Abu Hanaya, Om Mayal and other areas west and northwest of Uqayribat town in the eastern countryside of Hama.
Airstrikes coincide with violent fighting in the western suburbs of Uqayribat town between the regime forces and their allied militiamen, of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities, on one hand and ISIS on the other. However, ISIS initiated a counter attack in an attempt to regain control of the town and cause casualties in the ranks of the regime forces and their allied militiamen.
Meanwhile, the regime forces continue their attempts to take control of more areas in the eastern countryside of Hama and to put an end to ISIS presence there.
Regime forces shelled areas in the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood by three artillery shells, in conjunction with shelling by regime forces on areas in the outskirts of Ein Tarma town and the outskirts of Jobar neighborhood by 20 rockets at least believed to be land-to-land, without information about causing casualties.
Syrian Observatory documented yesterday that sporadic clashes are taking place in areas in Ein Tarma Valley in the Eastern Ghouta of Damascus between al-Rahman Corps against the regime forces and their allied militiamen, and the clashes are accompanied by the fall of 3 shells fired by the regime forces on the area. A shell also fired by the regime forces on areas in Hazza town in the Eastern Ghouta, and there is no information about causalities.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that Turkish border guards shot a child near the Syrian border with the Sanjak of Alexandretta, which resulted in killing him, while a girl was injured after being shot by the Turkish border guards in Kafrusen area in the northern countryside of Idlib.
