International Coalition launched 26 air raids on the strongholds
Baghdad - Naglaa Taa'y

U.S Pentagon issued a statement revealing that the International Coalition launched 26 air raids on the strongholds of ISIS in both Iraq and Syria during the recent 24 hours.

The US Sixth Fleet commander Cristopher Grady praised the military raids, saying that they targeted accurately their objectives in the areas controlled by the extremist group. He stressed their commitment to ISIS elimination to achieve international security.

According to security sources, the International Coalition’s fighter jets launched five raids against the sites of ISIS in Agricultural Reform district in the western area of Mousl, leading to increasing losses on the humanitarian level.

Iraqi security leader Safwan Al Khaledy said that Federal Police forces are ready for the coming battle against the extremist group to liberate Mousl’s right bank, stressing they wait the orders of Iraq’s Prime Minister to launch the operations against the extremist group.

On the other hand, ISIS militants bombed the building of Iraq’s federal court in the southern area of Mousl, which is still under the group’s control, as its elements transferred previously a number of important documents to an unidentified place and stole the precious contents.

A military source in Anbar revealed that the Iraqi forces managed to explode a store possessed by the extremist group containing over 400 explosives with no reports over causalities.

On the other hand, Iraqi President Fouad Masoum stressed the need for protecting the rules of democratic process in the country and its electoral institutions, calling for developing them with the constitutional ways.

He expressed, in a press statement, his support for any measures taken to support the democratic regime and to ensure the integrity of any coming elections. He stressed the need for protecting the civilians during the current operations launched by the military forces against the extremists to liberate the rest of Mousl, calling the international community for resuming its support for the social and political reconciliation in Iraq.

He praised the recent visit he conducted to Kurdistan, stressing the need for supporting relations between the federal government and Kurdistan’s government. He praised the cooperation between the governmental forces and Peshmerga militias during the current battle against the extremists
