Moroccan King Mohamed VI issued a royal decree to appoint the new Moroccan government headed by Prime Minister Saad Al Din Al Othomani on Wednesday, as the king and Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan headed the ceremonies of the appointment of the new government after five months of failure to form the new Moroccan Cabinet.
The Royal Court received last week the final list of the members of the new government which is composed of six parties represented in the parliament. The Moroccan King decided last week to dismiss former Prime Minister Abdelelah Bankiran of Justice and Development Party last month due to his failure to form the new cabinet. He decided to appoint Foreign Minister Saad Al Din Al Othomani to succeed him in the position.
