Arab Coalition fighter jets launched 11 air raids on a training camp controlled by Houthi militias on Monday in addition to a weapons store in Qaa Al Hakl area, west of west of Dhamar Governorate. The attacks led to the killing of a number of Houthi militants and forces loyal to former President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The Arab coalition fighters launched a series of raids on the positions of militias in the area of Al-Barh, the Directorate accepted, in the western axis of the city, coinciding with the intensification of the fighting on the fronts of the Directorate. According to a security source, fierce fighting between the two sides broke out after fierce attacks on the militias on the market Kdha, but government forces forced them to retreat.

Three elements of Houthi militias have been killed, while others have been injured during an operation conducted by Yemen’s Popular Resistance loyal to the legitimate government at Beida Governorate. According to sources, the elements of Popular Resistance attacked a checkpoint related to the insurgents in Sowmaa directorate, saying that the military operation led to the killing of three insurgents and the injury of two others.
The sources revealed that the resistance still besieges a leading member of Houthi militias called Abu Khaled at Qaweem area, adding that the residents cut the roads to prevent any campaigns from the militias to protect him. The Houthi leader is wanted by the Yemeni authorities over accusation of killing a citizen called Mohamed Ahmed Al Shamry and injuring one of Yemeni tribal leaders called Sheikh Ali Al Aqel.
There were fierce battles between the two sides on the eastern front, while government forces repulsed a militia attack on the area of Camp Russians, in Kalaba, forced them to retreat and flee.
The fighting in the eastern front left dozens dead and wounded in the ranks of the militias, while one member of the government forces was killed and three wounded.
A number of field fronts are also taking place on the western coast of the country and west of the city of Taiz, south of the country, fierce battles between the government forces supported by the Arab coalition fighters on the one hand and between Saleh and Houthi militias on the other.
On the political side, the members of Arab Coalition exert increasing efforts during the current period to declare a long-term truce to pave the way for supporting political process. Sources revealed that permanent members of UN Security Council expressed their support for the proposal.
The sources revealed that the proposal is based on suspending the fighting during Ramadan and allowing the UN convoys to provide the Yemeni citizens with food aids. They added that the proposal came after increasing efforts exerted by international officials to ease the humanitarian crisis witnessed in the country.
