A US raid on Abyan Governorate, South of Yemen Sunday evening, killed two leaders in Al-Qaeda, while 5 others elements were arrested in Lahj governorate. Fighting extremism forces tweeted that a robot plain targeted a car belongs to Al-Qaeda in “Karen Amaram” village in Abyan governorate.
A spokesman for the US Department of Defense said that the operations against Al-Qaeda in Yemen is part of the plan to eliminate this threat, adding that Al-Qaeda benefit from the outlying areas in Yemen to attack the United States and its allies. He added that US troops will continue working with the Yemeni government against Al-Qaeda.

Security director of Lahj, Saleh Al sayed  said that, the security forces managed to arrest 5 elements from Al-Qaeda including two leaders in three areas in El Hota city. He added that, explosive devices and different weapons were found with detainees.
The Yemeni army supported by the Arab Coalition advanced in the eastern and southern sides of “Khaled Ibn El-Waleed” camp, west of Taiz, and managed to control great areas of the camp in the past days. The coalition fighter jets raided the militias’ locations in east and south of the camp. The jets also targeted other locations in Mukha, Zobab, Medy, and Abas directorates. According to experts, Khaled camp is an important starting point to liberate Hodeidah, and controlling it will be a deadly attack to all the militias in the town.

Yemeni Navy launched the “Naval Arrow” operation, looking for Maritime mines planted by Saleh&Houthis militias on Medy’s caosts. Spokesman of the Arab Coalition in Yemen, Ahmed Asiri said during an interview with Al Arabiya said that, the Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah Al Sisi offered the Saudi government and the coalition to send from 30 to 40 thousands ground forces to Yemen, but the matter was suspended.

The Emirati Red Cross signed an agreement to repair” Arqa Health Center” in Shabwa Governorate, amid the charity works the body trying to do in Yemen. The head of Emirati Red Cross team signed the agreement with "Yahjal Contracting" company, and he said that, this agreement comes within the framework of seeking better services for development and infrastructure projects, adding that the body is adopting a plan to reform number of building and facilities in Shabwa. He added that this plan is to restore life before the current crisis, by repairing all health centers and providing them all the equipment they need.

Secretary General of the local council in the Directorate of Redum, Hadi Said Al – Khorma thanked UAE and its Red Cross for their help in developing the health centers, and their quest to restore hope in the country after the current political and economic crisis.
