Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday visited North Waziristan Agency (NWA) and laid wreath at Shuhada monument Miran Shah.
On the occasion General officer Commanding Miranshah gave detailed briefing about security situation, rehabilitation of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) and progress on socio-economic development projects in the agency, said a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) here.
The COAS also visited newly constructed border forts and fencing along Pak-Afghan border.
He appreciated efforts of the formation for speedy and quality work for border security measures.
Lieutenant General Khalid Nazir Butt, Commander Peshawar Corps was also present during the visit.
