Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa reiterated his country’s commitment to Saudi Arabia in its response to terrorism in all its forms and against all those who support or finance it.
Following his arrival in Jeddah on Monday, the Bahrain king said in a statement: “We are pleased to meet the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to discuss the developments in the region and continue the coordination and continuous consultation between us for all the good of our two countries.”
King Hamad said: “We are also pleased to express our deep pride in the close ties of brotherhood and the friendship between the leaders and peoples of the two countries, which extend to the roots of the ancient history of our two countries, and are reinforced by the common principles that increase these relations at all levels.”
He praised Saudi Arabia’s firm and honorable positions under the leadership of King Salman in support of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all circumstances and positions to preserve its security and stability in the face of external threats and interference.
He congratulated King Salman and his crown prince on the important historical achievements witnessed by Saudi Arabia at all levels, thanks to their wise leadership for the good and progress of the Kingdom and in the interest of the brotherly Saudi people.
King Salman welcomed the Bahraini king and his companions to the Kingdom. During the audience, they discussed a number of topics of interest.
King Salman hosted a luncheon in honor of the king of Bahrain and his accompanying delegation.
Meanwhile, the two monarchs’ meeting was attended by Prince Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdul Aziz, minister of state, a member of the Cabinet and adviser to King Salman; Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, minister of interior; other royal and non-royal princes, ministers, and the Bahraini monarch’s accompanying delegation.
