RIYADH - Arab Today

 The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia, has stressed the support of the Kingdom for the unity of Iraq and its security and stability.

During a telephone conversation yesterday between King Salman and the Iraqi Prime Minister, Dr. Haider Al-Abadi, King Salman renewed the Kingdom's call on all parties to exercise restraint and deal with the crisis through dialogue to spare Iraq more internal conflicts.

Al-Abadi commended the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his interest in the security and stability of Iraq, stressing the keenness of the Iraqi government to avoid any military escalation and its desire to ensure security in all Iraqi territories.
