Minister of Interior Lt-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa attended today the graduation ceremony of the 31st commandos course. He was welcomed by Deputy Interior Minister Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhel, Chief of Public Security Major-General Tariq Al Hassan and Interior Ministry Undersecretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
The minister expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and First Deputy Premier for their support to all sectors of the Ministry of Interior to enhance the efficiency of police performance.
Shaikh Rashid congratulated the graduates, highlighting the need to move forward to enhance readiness in dealing with various security challenges.
In his speech, the Commander of the Special Security force praised the directives and support received by the force from the minister, highlighting that the trainees had received advanced police training and various security skills to enable them to carry out their duties with competence and professionalism.
The graduates, in a number of practical skills, showed their high competence, embodying the level of the training they received as well as their high readiness and willingness to perform their duties.
At the end of the ceremony, the minister distributed prizes among the top achievers in the course, praising their good results and urging everyone to exert further sincere efforts to serve the nation.
