The King Hussein Cancer Centre in Jordan has honoured H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Chairman of Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in recognition of his humanitarian work and in appreciation of the financial contributions provided by the Khalifa Foundation to the Cancer Centre which stand at US$25 million.
In a ceremony held in the centre's headquarters in Amman, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs and Vice President of the Khalifa Foundation, received the award on behalf of Sheikh Mansour, and reiterated the deep-rooted brotherly relations that the UAE and Jordan share under the leaderships of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and King Abdullah bin Al Hussein of Jordan.
Al Za'abi also praised the centre for the medical services it provides to thousands of patients every year.
The ceremony was attended by a UAE delegation including Mohammed Haji Al Khouri, Director-General of the Khalifa Foundation, and a number of other officials.
