United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon arrived last night in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.
The Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs said today in a statement that the UN chief will meet a number of senior officials during the visit.
He will also participate in the celebrations of Pakistan's Independence Day, due on August 14. Ban Ki Moon is also set to inaugurate the Center for International Peace and Stability at the National University of Science and Technology in Islamabad.
