Israeli occupation authorities banned on Friday three top Arab media officials from entering the West Bank to participate in the “Journalism Under Fire” conference, scheduled to take place in Ramallah.
Israeli border control at Al-Karamah (Allenby) border crossing, on the West Bank-Jordan border, stopped the head of the Tunisian Journalists' Syndicate, Naji Al-Baghouri; Advisor to the Union of the Arab Journalists, Hashemi Nuweiri (Tunisian); and the Representative of the General Union of Arab Journalists, Abdullah Al-Bakali (Moroccan), and told them they were banned from entering the West Bank.
The three were bound for Ramallah to take part in the “Journalism Under Fire” conference taking place in Ramallah on November 16-18.
